Wow, very nice renders! May I ask you how you have modelled the glass and the SSS orange juice? I have read som post here at the forum where you enclose the liquid in the glass, but this isn't possible when using SSS materials, is it? I've tried it, but everything became a mess.. your orange juice render looks perfect.

It is the exact same technique as with the regular liquid in glass.
(One is inside the other)

Thanks Brett, I'd say it is satisfactory, but not quite there yet. Maybe in the future Maxwell gets an even more powerful sss system that can handle the nuances of liquids to even greater extent.

Some of the old relics here might remember a time a few years back, during the beta era (I think beta 1.2), where DoF and bokeh was slightly broken.

You can see the streaks of bokeh on some parts of the metals in the back and the white ghost over the black plastic on the last snap hook.


Of course all these things have been resolved now.
