How is the maxwell support? not that I'm not grateful for R11 - I'd like to test it, but due to the ownership of Maxwell what does interest me is - does it support R11?

Good question.
Perhaps it can be tested with the R11 demo.

There are material changes in R11. Maybe the plug isn't compatible. For Mac it's 64 bit, maybe that can cause some incompatibilities, too.

I just done a simple test with Cinema 11 Demo and Maxwell 1.7.1 and it works. However, I couldn't locate procedural textures that Maxwell creates so that bit didn't work but that could have have been down to me because I rarely use a Cinema material preferring instead to solely use Maxwell ones.

Of more interest to me with the Cinema 11 update is that can make use of Renderman compliant render engines such as 3Delight http://www.3delight.com/en/ . 3Delight has a free licence too.

The demo will not save the procedural textures because of the save limitation in C4D R11 Demo. That was the case in previous versions from what I remember.

On a mac here - the maxwell plugin works fine in r11 only if you have cinema running in 32bit mode - not compatible when opened in 64bit.
