Can anyone tell me what causes the swarm of flies?
I think it is material related. I need to change it to get a good final.

Do a search, you'll find some threads.

Short answer - We don't know.

Long asnwer - Be careful using SSS, make sure your mesh is closed. If you can't get around it, turn off SSS. Should work.

Right. The only time I have seen this is when SSS is not set up correctly.
