Hervé: :D i thought you'd like to see some real Swedish blond girls for a change instead of all the nature photos posted here, not that there's anything wrong with them hehe

djflod: Thanks :) the last church photo is one i tone adjusted quite poorly in Photoshop so it turned out into crap, i shoulda left it black and white instead.

jurx: Yes indeed! :) it's impossible to resist them Swedish chicks

Leo: Hehe, how did you know it was a fun party :D

Andre: I like the photo of the horsie, it turned out pretty nice the way it's cropped and with that focus.

Jeff: :D ..and you're all welcome to Sweden

Larry: Thanks! and you're ofcourse correct when you say that, i never thought of it before.

Actually personally i was more pleased with some of the other shots, from a technical point of view that is. Not that i'm complaining about the company of those women and sure they were photogenic :P but you guys probably know what i mean.. they're no challenge to photograph. The skulls and the dark hallway was more of a technical challenge to get them the way they look compared to the chicks. But that's just my personal opinion.

Today I saw this swan-familie before our house.

Normally they don't go far from the ditch, but a neighbour tolt me that if there is to little food, they go in to the residential area to look for any. Very dangerous with all the traffic. Furter can they be dangerous for children. In spite of that it's a beautifull sight.

Great auto images, Max. Thanks for posting. I like the B/W and less than full color images the most.

Louis, I hope your swans are friendlier than those in the NE USA.
Our native swans are very aggressive and dangerous. They will go out of their way to attack anything or anybody. Most that I have gotten close to, also appear a bit larger than those you show.
I think swans are a good example Beauty & the Beast in one creature.
Something like another favorite animal of mine. Alligators. They are just too cool.

The foot sequence in the last swan image is amazing. Great harmony. :)

Hi glypticmax and Tom,

In Holland Swans are very sully and friendly beasts, except if they have children :-) . Then they can be very aggressive if you come to close.

It's beautiful to see how they move, it's almost a military operation. Dad in front, than the children with mom at the end. You can also see that in the first image. They protecting there children very well.

reflexes no...skills yes  I put my camera on a table top tripod, set it on the window ledge of my apartment, safety harnessed it a table. Set the apature to f22 and set the exposure to bulb, plugged in my shutter release and just held the shutter open anywhere from 8sec to 2 minutes.

Bull Shoals Lake, Arkansas.
Just after a heavy rain the sun decided to come back out briefly before dusk. So much rainfall this year, the lake level is 40' above normal! Look closely and you can see the treeline is submerged.
