is there any way to unwrap uvws in solidworks or through the plugin for maxwell...or even in maxwell?.....i just dont want to have to take it from msolidworks through c4d and then into maxwell!

Sorry, but neither SolidWorks nor Maxwell has any kind of unwrapping functionality.
