Hi there,

I tried to render a front view in Maxwell (as it appears in rhino windows except for perspective) but the result presents a perspective angle.

Can anybody help me with this topic because this kind of view is really important to me. I also tried to pass through this problem with using MXstudio, but I faced the same results.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Cheers,

You can do it like val_z shows. From Rhino, it's best to use a perspective viewport (not one of the parallel top, front, etc.) because it gives accurate camera information to the plugin. Like it was shown, use a very long lens to simulate a parallel projection - the reason why is that there is no such thing as a real parallel projection in Maxwell, since it uses a realistic camera model.

You can create orthographic renders from Studio.

Switch to a 2d top, front, back, left or right viewport and hit render from inside MXST. Setting the size of the viewport, will set the render resolution.

A temp camera called 'no name' will be auto generated.

Tim.
