Cool, are you SLI? and what res?

I'm in winxp64 at the moment - I assume the framerate would be faster in vista under dx10?

...small update...
I'm a bit dissapointed with hardware resources
1024x768 - high details + 4x - cca 30 fps
1280x1024 - very high + 16x - drop to 15 (20) fps
1920x1200 - very high + 16x - only 1 fps

all with qx6700 + 8800gtx(only one  ) with Vista 64 + direct10

Mm yes you're right, it does require a monster machine which you can barely buy today to run well. But they said the game would last a few years and expand with future hardware. Meaning that it gets better the better hardware you got.

One more panorama i shot last night from the rocky valley in Crysis, this is also DX9 in XP32, but it's still pretty. :) click on the thumb to view the fullres version.

I love the foliage - it's very realistic crashing through the underbrush watching branches bend out of your way. But I think I'll leave this alone for a while and keep playing bf2142 - it is too much fun.

A half hour of gaming every few hours will actually increase your productivity - you can't study for every waking hour or you will go completely insane.... :)

crysis rulez! :) even on my old x2-3800 with a nv7900gs i can play it smooth on medium-1024. i will definitly buy this game...but more for the sandbox2 editor then the actual game.
i played around with the editor the last days and like it alot.

i have a small question slightly related to sandbox2:
do you know a place on the interwebs where i can find highresolution highdata from europe...or even better southern germany (berchtesgaden)? the only thing i found was srtm90 data but thats not so super cool in sandbox.

to get the needed .raw file for terrain-creation i used "3dem". its a tool that does the job but lacks the possibility to select a specific area e.g. like 4096x4096 meters. is there a better tool for that purpose?
