yes that could be the explanation

and it really seems to be related to it - if you look at the values of the other quadcore running vista64

I'm glad to see people are getting good results with Maxwell 64 and Vista 64. I'm waiting for the delivery of my new workstation: Dual quad xeons 5355, 16 gb ram, quadro 4500g, vista 64 business. I'm seeing the benchmarks for similar computers and getting excited. It's going to be a big difference from my Pentium D 830!

Hmmm, is it possible to upgrade from XP64 to Vista 64 without having to re-install everything? How about XP64 to Vista 64 on a MacPro?

the entries from "jds" and "CH" are clearly wrong, just look at their benchmark compared to time.

I've tested vista 64 & maxwell 64.

Much faster than previous test (xp 32 & maxwell 32) : 31min -> 27 min
