Hi Curt & Fernando,

That's very strange, because the code uses the same function to find the path when it writes the database, as when it reads it.

I just changed it to read the MAXWELL_ROOT env. variable instead...I'm not sure why the framework isn't giving a valid directory name. If it's working for you, you don't have to re-download, but the database will be located in the Maxwell folder now, so it's probably best to use the new version...for .mxm sharing purposes. Which is why I was trying to write to the generic users folder in the first place.

The link is back up.

Well, more or less it has the same problem; different text showed, but the same problem and solution. Maybe has something to do with having 7zip as file compressor?

Did you need to use 7zip to decompress it?

Ok, the self-repairing function is more trouble than I've got time to deal with. I've split the application from the database. You'll need to download both, and unzip the ior/thumbs database into the Maxwell directory before running the app.

Hi Sandy,

That looks right. Since the installer is very small now, I put some more detailed error messages in to see if I can find out where it's failing on your machine, and uploaded another version.
