Yea, another one of these threads.

I'm trying to find a good up to date website that guides you through the installation process / hooking things up as well as purchasing and finding components. Everything I have seen is out of date and or doesn't help much.

my brother in law once used a cerial box as a tower instead of a case he had intended to use. when i asked him why he didnt use the tower he already had available he replied in his rich suffolk accent:

"the cerial box ran at a cooler temperature!" sorry, i dont think this helps you out much but it was worth sharing.

Toms hardware is great btw. They had a part 1, 2 and 3 tutorials on what to do and where to look.
