That would be suicide :D why trying to dissolve the keys' top and absorb the cancerous substance faster through your skin. Seriously dangerous.

Acetone [ I use it pretty frequently, ......so I thought I'd chime in ..... :)

by the way Dex, ....that's an excellent way to make yourself a 'starter' Das.

Introduction

Acetone is a chemical that is found naturally in the environment and is also produced by industries. Low levels of acetone are normally present in the body from the breakdown of fat; the body can use it in normal processes that make sugar and fat. Acetone is a colorless liquid with a distinct smell and taste. People begin to smell acetone in air at 100 to 140 parts of acetone in a million parts of air (ppm), though some can smell it at much lower levels..............

Just a warning if you ever work with acetone to clean or remove a coating ...it's simply beyond flammable. ......a static spark will ignite an explosion quicker than you can take your next blink.

I've used a lot of keyboards - and I really mean a lot... During my pack-out of my apartment for my move, I came across at least fifteen different keyboards. So far, this is my favorite.

I don't like the laptop style keyboard - not enough 'play' with the keys. I actually much prefer the chunky feel of older style keyboards, which this one has. I also like the back-lighting since I usually have the lights off in my computer room. I have two of these now and may replace all of mine with this model - even at work. It's comfortable, durable, and also looks pretty cool!

When you need that retro, luxury, all natural mohogany edge, go for the woodcontour set. Why settle for less?

Oh My God.

Is this real? Looks like a standard Cherry with a (not so) nice wood texture applied. Maybe it's even cherry veneer?

During the heat wave in July I was seriously fantasizing about some such thing. I can't stand sticky keyboards - inevitable when sweating along all day and night. But my mind was on something more... more natural than these.. a real chunk still covered with bark on the side.. forest smell.. bugs crawling..
I bought cotton gloves instead.
