Despite all the efforts to update the max/viz plug-in I still can not use the max plug-in.
I can't preview the textures on the scene. I see the texture on the material editor, which I think it was about time, but still not getting it on my scene. I have created a simple scene and I applied a maxwell material that it came with program. Again it was visible on the material editor but not on the scene. When I hit render maxwell fails to render because on the material texture map that con not be found. What's the problem? I know there people working with the plug-in so what I am doing wrong? someone can help me please? I feel that my only alternative is using studio which it is ok but hard to use. I just would like to use the plug-in
thanks

Are you using mxm's from the Maxwell libraries? If so, make sure that the paths to the referenced bitmaps are correct. The preview images are pre-made, so they may display correctly but could still be missing a map. If you select "Edit the mxm" mxed will show a dialog if it can't find the bitmap. If that is the case, correct the path and refresh the preview. That might work.
