Yup, basically, it's four separate and independent systems crammed into one enclosure. Based on what little i've seen regarding prices of these, you'd be much better off with four separate computers using the same configuration. You could buy five similarly configured systems (total 20 cores), for what it would cost for one of these Tyhpoons (16 cores).

The only real plus on the side of the Typhoon is it's compactness, and it's reported low noise.
