A closup of a model now on display in the Star Wars exhibition in Paris :

Seems a bit more detailed than it's virtual counterpart, but then, I think this particular model was used only for closups, since it's only a part of the destroyer.

I've got it.....add a 30Hz rumble to your room while viewing the image. The image immediately pops into the correct scale. :)


Seriously though, the psycological effect of our hearing imparts on what we see should not be discounted. Afterall, the image is only 1/2 of the movie experience.
