Mihai robbed my computer and posted my images ;) kidding kidding

well done, but as said above me, I think a thin purple layer to add a bit of variation to the reflections would make it more realistic.

Here's one more glossy. I also broke up the scratches a bit, they seemed a bit too uniform. It's easy to change the glossyness to get what you want. This one has a bit too much bump perhaps...

and one with a bit violet, maybe too much...

I'm pretty happy with Fernando Tella's material and could definitely work with it. I'll give Mihai one last attempt to make a come back otherwise the £150 goes to Fernando :)

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo.......

Well, how scratchy do you want it? Those pics you showed looked pretty clean and even, bump in this case would almost not matter....

Your material seems less metallic and realistic, could be the lighting as well though. You're right, the graining is less prominent on the photos but that's something I can easily adjust myself.

I'll be making a decision at 5:00pm GMT and NOT 5:00pm NLT (NextLimitTime).

To make a material look more metallic usually you just change the roughness and reflectance. Here is one with slightly less roughness:

IMO the picture you posted, it's very hard to tell if it's a metall or hard plastic. But ofcourse depends what you need. The materials aren't really that difficult to grasp if you understand the basics. A bit of time to experiment and you could save some money, but this way is nice too, good for the economy when money changes hands :P

Well, it's hard anodised aluminium. I think it's tied now, it's very hard to pick the best one. I've already spents days on it myself which is alot more than £150. So to pay someone is by far the cheapest option :)

I can't decide, I do want both really but it's alot of money for one material :( I could offer £100 each, if that's OK ?
