Mihail,

Where is the texture picker?

I am familiar with the material editor....

Image

Is this it?

And I changed the projector number from 1 to 0.

Will that help?

Thanks for your help,

Wm

As I can see on your screenshot, there are three bitmaps assigned to the reflectance, roughness and bump channels.
Click on the yellow/black checkered squares to get the texture picker. there you find the projector channel right beneath the Load button.

I changed it and have the same error.

How do I make it enough material?

Check all textures in that material, not just the color map. All images must be set to use channel 0, if there is only one projector applied to the object.

Thanks for being so patient!

I think I went through them all and still have the same error.

What does the error mean?

Does the size of the image file in the texture make a difference?

I will post the file...

It means there aren't enough UV channels applied to that object to render the material that's applied to it. You get this message if the object doesn't have any uv's at all, and you apply a material with a bitmap to it, or it already has UV's (a projector), but one of the bitmaps used in the material has it's channel set to something other than 0.

Wm, please try to add another projector for this object, just to see what happens. Select the object, and create projector from the edit menu. THen render.

ok, I looked in it and your bitmap in the color (reflectance channel) was assigned to channel 1. Then Studio crashed because I am just cooking a render and just have 2 gigs of mem. I will try again in a few minutes.

Ok, I just added a second projector to this object and saved and it renders !!!
can I send you the modified mxs via private message ?

Thanks, Fractrix, where did I miss the projector?

Can you post images of where I should have looked?

No need to assign a second projector, just change the channel from 1 to 0. makeA, you already posted the screenshots of where to change the setting.

Mihail,

Can you indulge my slowness and show me with screen shots where these changes are made?

Cheers,

At the bottom where it says "Projection". Make sure ALL textures used by that material has projection set to 0.
