Nice that we have MW 1.0 but .........

... the plugin is from the 7th december and don´t
support polygon selection!

Can anybody tell me how to work with that crap????

Hello Holger,

The plugin has been updated numerous times since December 2005.

Polygon selection is not supported from within Cinema 4D at this time.

But there are two workarounds for this:

-Break your object up into several objects and apply different materials.

-Use Maxwell Render Studio to apply your polygon selections and materials.

don´t get me wrong but that isn´t suitable for work with
complex scenes......

Also NL promise that all plugins are ready with the mw 1.0
but as usual they don´t keep their promise.

I know it is not your fault.

i agree ,my hope is lost that working with maxwell-C4d will be more
efficient.

I am having trouble getting emitters that I assign to geometry to work. I have tried all of them (Custom, D64, etc.). Anyone else?

I also can not assign an image map from within Cinema even when I use a custom material via the material editor. Anyone else? Also, how do I define a simple planar projection if I am limited to using the Maxwell material editor without opening Studio.

Also, the render settings do not save when closing Cinema! I was hoping for much more out of this release.

I have not bothered to d/l the so-called V1.0 yet but if this is true (and other threads that basically state that the plugin has not been developed) i'm going to explode over here.

I left these forums for obvious reasons - i just check and see if there are updates from time to time.

The worst of all - the QUALITY that made me purchase the alpha version has been lost. MW looks quite CGish nowadays.

This is just too sad...

my english is very bad ,but when i start to reload my first 1.0 test scene
i got the same result,it seems that no ermitter light are working the picture was black,after i scale the szene from 100 to 1 down it works
again,i think the reason was the ermitters in RC 5 had a wrong calibriation,and now it works ok.

short word :) try to scale the c4d scene massive down,maybe it helps ?
