Maybe you just haven't noticed them, Norton is well known for being a massive resource hog and it also nestles itself deep down in your system so you can never do a full uninstallation of it unless you format your C drive and reinstall XP again. That's the sad part about Norton..

Yeap, i have done that a couple of times before norton and once due to the Service pack 2 installation.
After i got Norton i stopped visiting those porn sites, it gets so lonely sometimes...
