I havent got into airplane modeling yet but there are a bunch of aircraft modeling tools specifically for flight sim. Maybe you can bounce a obj out of one of those apps. To me the best modeling is on the PMDG747... its insane! The citationX is slick too.

i'm asking because i once bought a plane model at 3d02.com and that far seeing the wire all comes to my mind is that it must had been riped off some MSflightsim of some kind...

Indeed awesome modeling!!

Every time i see those rhino models i think it must be superior to poly modeling... i am on mac so no rhino for me... is there anything you could advise for mac nurbs modeling?
What are the disadvantages compared to poly modeling?

Btw guys, I made the 3d cockpit model for the Eaglesoft Cirrus SR22 G2

Have a look over here, screen 5

Textures are not mine but the 3d cockpit is

Hey Mr Perfection! (You really are :!: )

There's something wrong with your fillet there. Looks like it's not curvature continous? It's indenting too far as well.

But then if this is a 1mm big feature in your... cockpit I would never see it

Hi Jesper,

Thanks!! :D
It actuality is correct, it's the gear part between the yoke of a Boeing and the shaft.
The holes are for M4 screws with a head of D7.5mm

let me show you in the next screens and photo.
Btw, that is me in the picture
