Hello!
I was wondering about quitting FZ after starting the Maxwell render. Is there any great penalty to keep FZ running with a fairly large model open when running Maxwell?
My setup is Maxwell Beta and Windows XP.
The problem is I am a bit short on RAM (1GB) and when I start a Maxwell rendering the harddisk starts working a lot. I tried to render my model at a higher rez and got an errormessage that there wasn´t enough virtual memory.
My IT guy says there shouldn´t be any great penalty keeping FZ open but I am suspicious about that statement.
I can wait for the model to finish exporting and then quit FZ -that is a bit difficult since the screen won´t redraw properly and I have to make sure to save the model before exporting so that I can force quit FZ if needed.
Also waiting for an hour and a half before being able to quit FZ is a bit tedious.
Perhaps the plugin could be rewritten with an option to quit FZ immediately after exporting?
