HI

I'm behind a proxy, and can't run the build in benchwell scene because it won't download. Is there a manual download link somewhere?

Regards

- Björn

Not possible.

Imho it is a bit much care taken around this BM.

I have a many machines offline the internet for net render, and i find it a pitty that i can't benchmark them.

Could we get ip&port? Would help punching secure holes in the external firewalls.

in case you can modify the proxy, setting it to transparent might help.

Hi

Mihai: There is just an empty folder called "bench" there.

If someone could pm/dropbox/ or email me the scene I'd be very grateful!

Best regards

Hi again

I can't do anything to the proxy I'm afraid. And there is no other network I could go on (it's on the render farm, stationary computers behind corporate firewall and proxy, no wireless networks around).

I have the bench.dat-file now, but where should I put it? It still tries to download and fails.

Then I'm afraid it still needs an internet connection to check that the file is valid etc. We'll consider adding an offline mode for the benchwell test in the future.

Ah, crap, I see.

Thanks though.

Or you could add a setting with support for proxy servers, much like the Material editor has. With that one I can connect to the material gallery through the proxy.

How about a standalone one click benchmark like cinebench. Maybe without a direct upload option to the benchwell page to avoid a complete mess of the list...
It would really be nice if benchwell could become another standart test for CPU reviews.

I agree the data needs to be better filtered and presented than currently. It's on the todo list :)
