question about ies

Hi
i create many objects to use them as lights but when i apply ies ; some lights don't have lighten surface
(sorry for english )

Have you turned the sphere to which the IES emitter is applied the right way?

IES works best with small 0.5 cm diamenter sphere rotated to face the wall to be lit.

thanks for reply . i apply emitter material to the objects than i choose ies
but the problem in the color of objects

I think depending on the IES file you use and its measured shape, the object you apply it to will turn black. You could just add a second weak emitter material to it to avoid this I guess.

if i add other emitter material this make the render slow ?
i use more than 30 ies in one floor
