For some reason, Revit is changing the location of the material files and subsequently the rendering fails because the files can't be found.

I'm trying to reproduce this problem, but can't find a way, can you provide some more detailed steps or a screenshot with the issue?

Looks like it could be an issue with the grass. Working within the basic sample project (Revit 2013), I applied the grass with default settings and chose the "grassGeneric" material (located on my networked Q: drive with all the paths correct.



I then get the error below. The weird thing is, I don't know if this is a Revit issue or a Maxwell issue. I say this because our Revit install is pre-compiled (clue 1) and our office G: drive has our Revit resources on it (clue 2), so perhaps our IT guys auto-pathed Revit to the G: drive.
