Well I've discovered that if I use the sun with the longitude-latitude method, asking maxwell to calculate physical sun at late night means the sun will come from under the ground, which is not really physical...

Does the real sun disappear at night or is it behind the Earth?
Model the Earth, then it will be correct.

however I believe that there should be a checkbox for this somewhere
