How to apply the same material/picture on two different obj

Hello

It'is not very easy for a french like me to try to ask a technical question in english, so I try :
- I have 2 different objects who when they are combined is a sword ( handle + blade ) ,
I want to apply on it a material (picture) who simulate that the sword is entirely made in 1 piece/texture. I made on photoshop a lot of work on a picture to achieve a very realistic marble texture, and I would like at the end on Maxwell Studio to see the marble ribs/veins follows the entire sword object, and non wrapping the blade+wrapping the handle.
- Do I need to group this 2 pieces and apply on it a new UV?
- Is-there a way to achieve my goal?

I hope you understand my wish

Assuming you have a good unwrapped UV set for each object (both at the same scale), you may only need to use the rubber stamp tool on your texture in Photoshop to make a seamless version of the texture for each part... meaning use your UV polyframe as a guide in Photoshop and rubberstamp where the outer edges (of each island) meet to have the parts converge seamlessly.

Best,
Jason.
