strange black shapes over render

Hi - I've run into a strange error: black geometric shapes over the render. It happens when the render window refreshes, but at different times and not always. I've only experienced it with this one scene - which is here shown bared of relevant scene items because of an NDA. But I think the problem is evident :-)

This is a very rare bug, its not your pc...
I get this bug when I have a transmitting material with very high transittance (also I had sss in the material but I'm not sure if thats critical) in the scene. If I reduce the trans to <240 problem went away.
Hope that helps, but I cant see any trans/glass in your scene, is there any?

I had this bug with 1.7 and discovered it was caused by somehow corrupted geometry (I Use MAYA).
I used to isolate objects in the scene and test render until I discovered the faulty one.

Thanks for the suggestions - I think the culprit might be an object imported from Marvelous Designer hiding behind the camera. Should off course have tested the scene by isolating objects one by one. Or just start hiding stuff that's not in the render anyway ;-)
