Totally Gray Id Material Channel

Hello, I am new with V2.7.
I am having a materials Channel totally gray.
I have tried several times with diferent files, and cannot get a good materials channel.
The objects channel is ok (all colour)
Is this a known bug?

It works fine here -- what Material ID colors have you assigned in your materials? You will find the Material ID color in the top "Material Properties" node in MXED (see here).

I have several Metalic Materials assigned to the model. (at least 5)
But I get a plain gray channel similar as Alpha but gray instead of white.
Ah, perhaps this is the reason: I am using Maxwell V1.x materials
Could that be the reason?

In the link you suggested I found this:
Material Id
You can specify a desired custom color to be used to identify this material in the Material Id channel. If you don't specify any custom color, Maxwell picks a different random color for each material on your scene.

Anyway I didn´t specified any special colour....

You need to.

Old materials will come in with gray MatID.

You know, gestures might have diferent meannings deppending on cultural background.
In Argentina, doing that movement with your finger near your ear, means CRAZY!
