I need to give wooden decking some wweathering, which means a silvering to the wood. I have Arroway Wood 3 and all the woods are too 'fresh' and yellow/brown for this.
Can anyone tel me how to do this in MXed?

I imagine I add a layer and place it at the top of the stack with a colour in Reflectance 0 and 90 that acts as a translucent kind of topcoat. But I don't know if that's right.

Reducing the saturation of the textures (in the image properties) would probably get you most of the way there -- adding a layer above would be better suited for adding dirt/paint/scratches/etc.

This MXM was made to show one way to use layers to "age" a normal wood floor and might be helpful.

Best,
Jason.
