Bug with multiple IES

Hi All,
Are there any known bugs with using multiple IES files in C4d?
If not I may have found a pretty deadly one that crashes maxwell without fail.
Maxwell is fine with all 4 groups of emitters with one IES, but crashes when I use multiple IES files. It is ok with one IES and standard emittor... sometimes it even works with two emittors
Its not RAM related I don't think.
There seems to be no real way for it to work repeatedly but it will be sure to crash if I try multiple IES options
Anyone know of anything?
Thanks
Edit: C4d seems to Jump to the exported scene before it has finished loading...
I will try exporting mxs another way..
Edit: FAIL!!! crashes from studio as well
Jules

You mean it crashes on export? Can you send me the scene?

I cannot send THE scene because it is huge and for a client but I will make another one, it seems to have the same problem here as well.

It even crashes when applied to two different geospheres in a new maxwell scene

But crashes when?

Sorry, It crashes after I hit render. The maxwell render window comes up and after a few seconds it crashes, It crashes before voxelization starts.

I Just tried to open the scene on my other pc and it has the same problem, I have tried various .ies files.
It really seems like it is just a problem with multiple ies files of any type. Can you confirm this either way?
Or maybe there is another way to activate multilight (aside of course from seperate render passes)

You didn't try with any other IES files besides that one right? Because it works fine with the included IES files in the Maxwell install. There is some white space in that IES file, or perhaps other data in it is wrong.

I have tried with loads of Ies files, thats what I found really confusing. And it works fine with only one Ies material.
They were from the philips website I think so they should really work but I may just have to try and find some similar ones.

What do you mean by 'there are white spaces'?

Another problem arose using a different IES which loaded up the scene and left all the timers at 0 and then just stopped.
Obviously I decided not to use that IES but maxwell sure does not like irregular IES files, I wonder what causes the problems..
