Hi all,

Sorry I really don't know where to post this but here goes:
On many peoples profiles it seems I cannot view their images because I do not have permission! It says it in red writing below the text
I cant figure out why this is... can anyone help me?

It's because those images are added as attachments. For anyone adding images as attachments, don't do that Upload them somewhere and link to them instead.

Mmm...it doesn't make sense. If that's the case, others also wouldn't be able to see them.
Jules or Patrick, do you use proxy? Have you tried with other browsers? What's the text in red exactly saying?

No proxy and Safari as browser. But same if I try to see these images via iPhone or iPad.

Internet explorer and chrome both have the problem.

Trying to understand what makes only some of the users different than others about seeing attahments...

There was change at some fairly recent point in time where new forum members got to have the VIP groups status, but not the Registered users group status -- for whatever reason if you are not in the "Registered users" group you will not see attachments.

Registered users says: "This is a special group, special groups are managed by the board administrators."
