crash when starting to render...

strange but happens a lot: esp. strange since sometimes 1 computer renders while another one crashes...with the same hardware and software and scene.
after all is pre-processed etc., Maxwell crashes. I discovered that setting the alpha and material channels to TIF and not PNG sometimes help. Also setting the preferences to "user" folder instead
"temp" or "project" also help. Removing networked path from texture-search path also helped. However sometimes I still get crashes. All my rendering machines run win x64 with 4-8 Gb ram. I get a strange report that say "app crash" and some strange hex codes from windows under "additional info". I know Hebrew can cause problem so I try to use English fonts only. any ideas ?

Running out of RAM maybe? Problems with the RAM modules themselves. Have you run a heavy memtest to see if they hold up? Run a heavy CPU/RAM test for a few hours to see if all components are stable.

Is too hot there? Erratic behaviour sometimes has to do with temperature.

it's not RAM modules as it happens at different computers every time, it's like something buried inside the scenes works in one computer than fails in the other one. I also leave the air conditioner on since in here the summer is HOT and I've had issues with overheating - that's causing an "automated" reboot not crash... I strongly suspect that it involves Maxwell's not liking hebrew fonts...
