Anyone using FumeFX/Krakatoa w/ Maxwell Render?

Hello Group,

Like the subject title says, anyone using this particular grouping? FumeFX renders voxels, Krakatoa can convert to particles. Will Maxwell be able to render this?

Searching the net brought no conclusive answers. Perhaps there's a clever work around solution??

You can render particles with the RealFlow Renderkit that is integrated inside Maxwell Studio. Since the 2.7 update there are even more particle formats supported iirc.

Maxwell can render particles directly now with the new particle primitive with is a parametric sphere - will always look perfectly round. You can't render voxels though. You can also use instancing instead of using the particle primitive if you want.

It's compatible with particle systems other than RealFlow bin files, for example particles created in Maya, Houdini, XSI, 3dsMax.
