I went through the installation of v2.7 and it said it finished successfully. I launched Maxwell.exe and got the following error: "This application has failed to start because MSVCP90.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I am running Windows Vista 32 bit. Re-installing did not help. I un-installed it and installed v2.6 and it worked fine. Does anyone have any ideas to help?

First, try re-downloading the installer. It's possible that it got corrupted during download. Then if that doesn't work, try uninstalling Maxwell completely, downloading the full 2.7 install (instead of the upgrade), and try installing that. Make sure to back up your license.txt file.

Thanks Bubbaloo. I tried uninstalling and then installing the full version, but it came up with the same problem. Then I tried downloading the full version to my laptop, which has never had any version of Maxwell installed on it. It is also Windows Vista 32 bit. It also had the same installation problem.

I think there might be a problem with the installer? Has anyone had success installing on Windows Vista 32 bit?

I just tried installing the Win32 version onto a Windows XP machine and Maxwell failed to start, popping up the same error message that you had.

Maxwell 2.7 patch - win7/64bit.... no problem here
