Clarification on FIRE re-export

Hi, just wondering what tasks earn an instant-update in FIRE and what tasks require a re-export?

If I'm not mistaken, in the plugins (C4D, SW, 3DS) any material changes are instant. Camera movements or changes are also instant. Some render settings and environment changes are instant, and some require re-export (e.g. IBL intensity multiplier?). However any physical geometry changes such as movement/scaling/hiding require re-export.

Am I correct in these assessments? Am I also correct in assuming that some day in the future, FIRE will be truly realtime, and reflect all scene/geometry changes immediately, eliminating the need for a re-export button? 8)

If you check this box, fire will re-voxelize automatically, even when editing geometry.

Yes, anything where the geometry has changed (so changes also in displacement settings of a material) requires revoxelisation of the scene. Changing intensity in IBL though shouldn't...
