One small question for confirmation.

Let's assume I'm making a mxsreference with some referenced mxm's applied. Are the mxms embeded in the mxs reference or when maxwell reads the reference file tries to find the original mxm applied? I think the correct answer is the first one so if I change the mxm file I have to export the mxs again to reflect the changes in the material. Right?
