Hi folks,
Can anybody help me with the following:
I would like to do a solar study where you see how the sun moves from morning to evening. What steps should one take to get this done?
thanks in advance.

I don't know if you are working within MaxwellStudio, but if you're working with 3D studio Max, instead of using Maxwell daylight system, use the Max daylight system and animate it...
I guess, you can do it the same way with other 3d software like maya etc...

Thanks for the reply. I use maxwell studio to create the scene. Other 3D appplication I have is SolidWorks.
Is there a way to get it done with only the maxwell products?

You can do this with the Python scripting for Maxwell -- there might even be an existing sample script for exactly what you want.
You can find some videos to get started here:
