Help (grass makes white wall green)

Hi!

We have some trouble with materials. For example, we have grass that makes our whitepaintedwood exterior wall looks green. Or a deck-material makes another material get colours from our deck.

We are not sure if its the grass / deck materials or the wall materials that are wrong.

But what parameters should we start to look at?

I would say that's generally considered a feature and not a bug, but if it's a problem it might be best suppressed in post, as a photographer / retoucher would do.

Do you mean light is bouncing off the grass and hitting the wall? Because that's normal. If it's something else check the materials are applied to the correct objects, and check the material settings aren't beyond accepted limits (e.g. roughness too high).

A simple example scene to look at your material setups would make it much easier to diagnose what exactly is going on.

Best,
Jason.
