Did the Simulens settings change in 2.6?

I'm opening a MXI saved last week in 2.5 and the Simulens isn't creating the same effect as it used to in 2.5.

So did the values change in 2.6? (again) And in what proportion? Or is the way Simulens behaves that's completely changed?

I haven't got any examples but I'm also finding that scattering in 2.6 has to be cranked up to 50 before it'll make 0,0,0 pixels into maybe 3,3,3. In 2.5.1 a scattering value of 1 could do more than that, but I was going to wait until I'd done some comparisons before posting. I'm not complaining, I think scattering was too sensitive before, but it would be nice if it could be clarified.

I think it's more then just the sensitivity that's changed. The emitters seem to be brighter but scattering is indeed less sensitive.
So that was confusing, because in the first place I didn't know anything was changed or it was a mistake I made. The releasenote of 2.6 didn't
say anything on changing Simulens..

I got everything back the way I wanted and it's looking fine again, but I'm still wondering how Simulens changed exactly.

I compared old scenes with simulens.
In 2.6 i have to raise the values (diffraction set to "4x") to obtain the 2.5 simulens result.
