Fastest sky option

Hi everybody

I know this is an old question, but for me it isn't clear which would be the fastest option for lighting an interior scene only with exterior light.
Whats faster?
- simple skydome, white, without any sun
- physical sky
- hdri
or is it way better if I build an emitter in front of every window?

I don't want to use any fill lights inside the room, since I fear that it could destroy the nice mood.
unfortunately I cannot show you any images. But the room is a tall hall where light comes in only through the rooms which are connected to it. You see inside the rooms (which will be very bright) and got a slightly darker hall. a lot a glass is involved, where I use AGS for. sounds like an impossible challenge :)

cheers,
kami

I would use a high quality HDR environment. You can get fast results by using emitters at windows, but it won't look as good.

I have some of these, they are great. The sunny ones produce sharp shadows.
