Interesting ! Does someone know , where the benchscene is located ? I don´t fond it on the page. I´m a bit surprised about the bad ranking of the i7-2600K . I thought it would be better ?!

The problem is that there are many incorrect entries... looks like it is not moderated

A 2600k @ stock speed (3,4GHz) should be slightly faster than a 920 @ 3,4GHz

I asked for the i7-2600k , because i will build up three rendernodes based on an i7-2600k.

did you took the i7 970 into consideration? it's ~250€ more expensive than the 2600k but it's ~20% faster too.
you have to run the 2600k @ 4,2-4,3GHz to get the same speed.

and you can easily clock the 970 @ 4 GHz

i think after the price cut it's the best bang for the buck at the moment
