Hi all

Can someone give me some starting hints to render an animation from C4D in maxwell ? Its possible to render in maxwell a mograph animation of C4d ? Some words about the workflow would be nice, not in terms of render quality, only in workflow.

Best,
Thomas

I sure would like to know that as well.
I have tried baking etc. no success... I miss a "BakeEverything" button in c4d.

I once did a animated ricefield (mograph, lots of clones) rendered in Maxwell. I just exported the scene with plugin (set to "Export Animation"), no need to bake, at least with this setup. The mxs files where then rendered in a small Network.

Only worklfow issue was the export taking lots of time and creating many big files. Can you give more details on your scene and problems you are expecting/experiencing?

As lord.saddler indicated, exporting animation from Cinema is pretty simple: just check the "Export Animation" box in Scene Object > Options, set the parameters in the Animation group to control which frames will be exported, and then use one of the normal MXS-export commands to export or render the frames. For reference, this is covered on pages 16-17 of the plugin manual.

(By the way, if you have plugin-specific questions like this, you will probably get quicker answers to them by posting in the appropriate plugin forum.)
