Multilight workflow questions...

I'm playing with doing some animations in Maya and rendering with the maxwell plugin. As I'm setting up a scene I will typically use multilight and render out single test frames to make sure things are looking right.

When it comes to batch rendering though... I don't want to have to change multilight via the sliders on every frame... so I set the ISO, environment intensity etc... in the scene based on what looks good after tweaking with multilight...

When I go to adjust emitters though... In the multilight interface, each emitter is just a single slider (for intensity). Where do I go to change that in the emitter shader in the scene? The only two that seem to make a difference are Watts and Efficacy, but those number don't align really with the multilight slider.

It would be nice if you could adjust all the settings with multilight and then save them to the maya scene.

Intensity is a multiplier value -- so 150 would be your normal starting emitter value times 1.5, just input that new value into the emitter settings (depending on emitter type this would be different).

Best,
Jason.

Are you using Maxwell 1.7? Because since 2.0 the emitter sliders show values based on what unit/value you set in the emitter shader. If it's lumens you see a lumens slider. Also you have File>MXI Batch processing for adjusting ML settings among other things for a bunch of MXI files.
