Hi all,

Is Maxwell capable of generating 3D stereoscopic / anaglyph images (the ones where you need to use 3d glasses to see correctly) or does this require an entirely different process (or post-process) to generate?

-A.

Hi,
maxwellrender is capable to create source images for every known 3D technologies. All You have to do is to render two separate images from cameras that have cca. 6,5cm (human eyes distance) distance between each other. Than you have lot of choices to make it 3D. For the method You are talking about (anaglyph) tere are a lot of free postproduction softwares. Maxwell natively don`t convert that images to 3D anaglyph. Anyway in my wish list there is ask for support for 3D anaglyph in Maxwell Fire. It would be maybe 2x slower, but it will be very nice and usefull option (with maybe not so much programming effort).
