Basic SL question...

Is it worth to wait till SL reach an integer number?
In other words: if for instance I got a render that currently reached SL 12.99 is it worth to wait till it reach 13?
Or it the SL really incremental so going from 12.98 to 12.99 is comparable to going from 12.99 to 13?

The reason I'm asking is because in a real world case you may want to interrupt a render while in progress because you need to deliver, but I'm afraid to do so when it's so close to reaching its next integer SL...
Does it matter?

You don't need to wait. Just stop it any time you feel it's ready.

or You can wait to "round" SL if obsessive-compulsive disorder is strong

Thanks guys!
I DO have compulsive obsessive behavior, which would have me prefer the neatness of reaching a round number, but I think just stopping when it's ripe is more practical.

The problem for me is, if I don't hit the stop button at precisely the right time, it might actually stop at 22.01. And you know then I'm going to be waiting another twenty hours so I can try for 23.00.

There is nothing speciall in your confession Fernando ;) (but thanks for sharing, we all love You)

EVERONE who uses maxwell render HAVE obsessive-compulsive disorder. It is just obvious.
only one question there is - how strong is it?

You all know

... reflection of caustic from refracted subsurface scattered teapot with 1.4534 Nd with 1.3253 rough layer on top from 2 km away is just perfect (and reallife correct) on this 4 bsdf + 2 coatings wood floor textured with 16bit tiffs ...

just admit it , we all are insane and addicted . truth is first step for recovery
