Maxwell Render | Official public forum

I installed Maxwell 2.5 for Maya (plugin version 2.5.7) but I'm having issues with it. Most all of the controls for the plugin are grayed out and I can't change them. It renders but I have no way to control any of the parameters. I had the same issue with Maxwell 2 and had to revert back to version 1.7. I did try installing 2.5 on another computer and it works fine but it's not the computer I need it for. I'm running it with Maya 2009 on OSX 10.5.8 on a Mac Pro 2 x 2.93 GHz Quad Core (16 threads) with 16 GB of RAM.



Also I have contacted Tech Support about this 3 times over the last week and have not gotten any replies.

Is the plug-in set to autoload? What other plug-ins are active? Do you see any error messages in the script editor after the plug-in is loaded, or after the render globals window is opened?

Thank you Mihnea. I was getting a message about the Real Flow plugin not loading (Error: Cannot find procedure "realflowMain".) so I turned it off plus a few other plugins that come with Maya but I never use. I restarted Maya and Maxwell works now. I guess my next step is to reinstall the Real Flow plugin. Thanks again.
