maxwell 2.5 crashes hiresolution + renderchannels

hi to all,
i want to render a large image (15000px x 8000px) with some renderchannels active (alpha,obj-id,mat-id) but maxwell 2.5 just quits before reaching the first SL.
i am using an hdri for lighting the scene, no multilight enabled.
my system has 24GB Ram, more than enough for this scene. the task-manager shows 14GB in use after voxelisation and SL0.
first i lowered the image-resolution step by step and maxwell starts rendering fine with 7500px x 4000px - but i need 15000px x 8000px!
second attempt was disabling the renderchannels - and this works! now i can render even higher resolutions but only COLOR!!!
does this mean i have to render each channel seperately? this is very time consuming...i need at least the alpha-channel!
is this a known bug? is there any workaround?
help please!
