Alpha problem

Hi,
I´m doing my firt GUI Interface with MW and I´m using an alpha + matte material for the main-surface to get a transparent knob.
There is a small dark outer line on the alpha border...
Any idea how to avoid this artefakt?
SL 24 and PNG 16

If you have this trouble while compositing image+alpha channel, you must (using Photoshop):
- load alpha as layer mask on rendered RGB layer
- merge it with rendered RGB layer ("right click on mask icon in window with listed layers > apply layer mask")
- remove black matte (from top menu: "layer > matting > remove black matte")
This will remove the black contour.

The compositing is done within the VST-plugin

Is there a way to render a white matte out of maxwell?
(I´m using GIMP, by the way...)
