Dear All
please advise what is the recommended value when we define the light amount ?
I have noticed that when I use the "power and efficacy" I need to put large number to see the light effect (for example 5000 w)
and the efficacy is limit I can't put there for example large number .
Thanks

The most likely reason why you are experiencing this is scale -- meaning the size of the model. All models in Maxwell should be at real-world scale in order for the physically correct emitter materials to work right.
If you have the appropriate scale for your model then you can just use real world wattage values from the light fixture you are trying to mimic.
Also possibly you do not have the camera exposure settings set correctly -- check out this link for a some good EV values:

Best,
Jason.

I'm not sure how the formZ plugin handles scale but in Maxwell everything should be 1:1 for realistic lighting.

Jason.

Also keep in mind your camera settings...iso, f-stop, shutter speed. If those are abnormal you'll have to set your lights to be very high wattage. Feel that maxwell's default camera setting are a bit too fast.
