Hi ,
i have a Full licence and one node license, and many possible configurations for my network
I use:
-one laptop(MacBook Pro) sometimes under OSX (called "MBP")sometimes Windows XP32 via bootcamp(called "MBPXP")-so it's like 2 computers!
-one PC tower windows XP32(called "Core2")
I installed my node license on MBPXP, and full License on Core2- this works fine.
But I want flexibility in who does what in case i travel for work and want the laptop as my primary machine.
question
1.)can I use interchangeably the full and node licenses? if so how do i make my PC become the node? and vice-versa, how does MBPXP become the full license machine? do i simple 'Add' both licenses when i open Maxwell Render? or do i need to also i separate installations on each machine?
2.) Can the MBP(under OSX) run the full license and see the Core2 as node? has anyone done cross platform network rendering with succcess? is it very difficult to set parameters for this?
thank you very much-
Peter
