Maxwell Render | Official public forum

Most of the time when I drag a material to the material palate this is the error I get, and the material/render will not work because I guess it is missing this important file. I've downloaded these materials from maxwell why would they be missing these files and what should I do??

I had the same problem until I found that the maps were unzipped to the wrong directory. I just moved them the the path specified in the error message and now everything works fine.

Hmm I'll have a look, but i'm guessign i'll need to re download if i cant find where they went, thanks

I found them in C:\Program Files\Next Limit\Maxwell 2\materials database\textures\arroway

Remember that those materials came with the original V1 which installed to progam files ....../maxwell/.... - V2 installs to program files...../maxwell 2/.....!

Remember that the Arroway Texutres collection were removed from the installed to reduce its size, but you all can download it from the Download Area (through our Customer Gateway), under the "Additional Content" tab.

recognize the ...(x86)\... in the path the error message displays. I think this might be the problem.
